This is Sam Kamoutsis and I am the Broker/Owner of PLANIT Real Estate Inc.

As an Internet Real Estate professional with 25 years of Information Technology and Internet experience, my understanding of  real estate and the Internet has allowed me to bring PLANIT real estate to the forefront of Toronto’s real estate market. Since 2005, all the real estate sites we have launched have been on the first page of Google for years. This is where exactly 92% of buyers and sellers are in 2011… We are able to achieve 100% organic Search Engine exposure and not pay a penny in doing so.

It has been quite some time, since the first time I put my hand on a computer keyboard. I don’t think they were really called computers at that time, now that I think of it… “Personal Computers” sounded more like games: Commodore64,  Atari and who remembers what else… My first ever programming course was in Basic under DOS 3.0, which is now ancient history (!). I am sure what we learned exists only in university history books for students pursuing careers in computer science.

Today… while in the process of launching and managing the expansion of PLANIT real estate, I am implementing what I realized  back in 2005, when I first came into the business: the extreme importance of real estate being online!  I remember being one of the first Toronto realtors to post on Craigslist in 2006, when postings were only a handful. Google loved us and still does.

I never imagined that one single website, Google, can run everyone’s  businesses and our own, our lives, our interests and our search in life. I never expected that Facebook would  resurrect memories of long lost friends, friendships I had forgotten and I am now connected to, and that Twitter is now one of my communication mediums to reach my younger clients.

Life, as we knew it, has changed forever. I hope you have a strong stomach and solid nerves because it is going to be a roller coaster ride!
